Start with the right position
Set the cap where it feels most natural—usually just above the eyebrows, with the crown resting evenly rather than pushed too far back. Keep the brim level or give it the angle you actually wear. The right position should let you look down, move, and drive without the cap shifting.
Fine-tune the closure
Start at a neutral setting, then make small adjustments. If the cap rises when you look up or moves in the wind, tighten it one setting. If it feels heavy across the forehead after a few minutes, loosen it one setting. The goal is a secure fit with room to forget it is there.
Adjustable closures give you flexibility across seasons, hair length, and layers. A fit that works with a short haircut may need a different setting after a long day, under a hood, or with more volume. There is no single correct number of snaps—only the setting that stays comfortable and stable for you.
Let the shape do its work
Structured caps are designed to hold their silhouette. Avoid crushing the crown in a bag or storing it under weight. When it is not on your head, let it rest on a shelf, hook, or clean flat surface where the brim and front panel can keep their form.
If the brim needs a quick reset, reshape it slowly with your hands rather than forcing a sharp bend. Wear tells the story; damage does not have to.
Keep care simple
For everyday dust or loose dirt, use a soft brush or a dry cloth. For a small mark, spot clean with a lightly damp cloth and a small amount of mild soap, then let the cap air dry away from direct heat. Avoid machine washing, machine drying, and soaking the cap. Those shortcuts can affect the structure, stitching, and finish.
